Wish List Item Granted: Laura Mercier Artist’s Palette for Eyes

Surprise, surprise! Feels like it was just yesterday when I blogged about how down I felt for not being able to snag the Laura Mercier Artist’s Palette for Eyes on Sephora before it went out of stock… oh, wait. That really was just yesterday! 😆

I was supposed to post this earlier last night (around 9PM GMT +8) while I was at Jamba Juice, waiting for my yaya to finish grocery shopping, but my obsessive-compulsive senses kept tingling because of the annoying smudge on the Truffle pan that I didn’t notice upon purchase (probably a factory thing—it didn’t look like it was touched but there was a very small splat shape that was slightly darker than the rest of the pan). I kept contemplating whether I should get it replaced or not, so by the time I finished editing the photo, my yaya was already done. Bummer (in the end I was too lazy to walk all the way back to Rustan’s to get it exchanged… what were you guys expecting from lazy ol’ me, duh).

Anyway, I am just SO happy! I really didn’t expect the Laura Mercier boutique at Rustan’s to sell it since it was labeled as a Sephora exclusive (but then again the MAC Stroke of Midnight Lip Bag: Pink was labeled as a MAC online store exclusive, too, yet it’s being sold in-store—I guess that’s one benefit you get for living in a country that releases merchandise late). Imagine my surprise when the Laura Mercier inquiry that I made in passing was answered with a yes! To think I didn’t even go to Rustan’s for it in particular (see: NARS goodie bag on the background *wink wink*)..! Oh and I even got a bunch of freebies, BTW, since the MUA at NARS—who also happened to handle Laura Mercier—already knew me. Yay! I don’t get this lucky often! 😛

…matter-of-factly, my luck has already run out since I have an 8AM class to attend and I’m already running late (what’s new), so I guess that’s it for now. 😥 I’ll make a post on this soon, though, after I publish my post on the MAC Stroke of Midnight collection.     • I refuse to consider myself an adult until I turn 21 (I used to say 18, but then I turned 18.. then I said 20, but I’m turning 20 in a few months so, no LOL). 😆

    • Wow, thank you! I appreciate it. I’ll do what’s required later! 🙂 Which reminds me, I got nominated for something last week (or was that 2 weeks ago?) but I forgot about it cos of school and all. Can I still do it or is there a deadline to these things? *clueless* 😆

      This is my very first Laura Mercier product, too! I’ve read raving reviews though.

      • Wow, successful? I still have so much more in mind before I even think of my blog as good, but that means a lot coming from you! x

        TBH I’ve actually been losing my drive for school these days. I think it’s a horrible case of senioritis (I’m on my second to the last term, hopefully). It also doesn’t help that I made it to the 1st honors dean’s list last term because that means I have unlimited cuts this term, so I always end up cutting classes. 😆
