Okay, I know I mentioned writing about having gone on a trip during my long absence from blogging on my previous post, but this is *not* it. This one’s a really fun summer getaway I had with my friends, Nikita, Kat, and Javier last May 19-20, and even though it’s been almost 3 months since then, I can’t let that experience not be commemorated through this blog post!

Like my old post on Club Balai Isabel, this was supposedly just a photo post of our trip, but again… there’s no harm in writing a review, right? Especially if it could be of help to people who are looking for places to go to in Subic! 🙂

I gave the price a perfect score because… well, check out the photos of the executive suite we checked in to and check out the rates below. How does it make sense that a room THAT beautifully furnished and decorated goes for just Php5,499.00 and is good for 4 people, too? Need I mention that it comes with free breakfast good for 2 people? What a steal!

The accommodation was just perfect. I mean… you *have* seen the photos above, right? It’s nothing sort of luxurious, and there was absolutely no malfunctioning facility inside the suite! What more can a vacationer ask for, and what in the world is there to complain about?

The outdoor facilities were as equally impressive, too—they offer fly boarding, banana boating, jet skiing, and scuba diving, and even though we weren’t able to try them out because of the high tide on the day we were there, they still offered those services for similar competitive and reasonable prices. The swimming pools, pool bar, and outdoor landscaping were also very well-kempt and really pleasing to the eyes!

The customer service of the place should be awarded some sort of gold standard or something, because the members of the service crew were more than accommodating and friendly! The last occupants of our room left some sort of weird fishy smell, and the cleaning crew was more than happy to attend to getting rid of the unpleasant scent—they also kept on apologizing even though it wasn’t really their fault.  The bartender at the pool bar was also really nice, and his service was really quick!

Lastly, the food… and not-to-mention, the drinks. They were reaaaally good! I don’t know if the bartender took special classes of some sort, but I really enjoyed the drinks he served us. Plus they offered an extensive menu for breakfast meals, so I can say that it’s very foreigner-and-local friendly because of their multi-regional breakfast cuisines!

…so, that’s about it for my review of iCove Beach Hotel! Click the thumbnails below to see more of the photos we took during our trip to Subic!

All the food we gorged on during our stay, minus the breakfast we enjoyed at iCove (I forgot to take a photo of the delicious bacon-sinangag-itlog because I was starving… oops).

All these beautiful photos were taken at iCove Beach Hotel. It’s such a nice place, isn’t it?

I can’t wait for the day that I get to check in again and finally get to try out the water sports! Maybe I’ll take my family here the next time around!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed viewing the photos and reading through this post. Please feel free to leave a message on the comment box below! 🙂
